Synopsis

Former NBA player Jason Collins teams up with Pride Socks and the Point Foundation to create a Custom for a Cause sock. Jason was born and raised in California and played in the NBA for 13 years.  On May 6, 2013 Jason Collins became the first active NBA player to come out as gay. Jason describes it as, "being the kid in the classroom who knows the answer but waits for someone else to raise their hand to say it first, but no one else does, so I raised my hand and said yes this is who I am."  Since coming out, his belief is being a possibility role model for others and help lead the way for them.
